Undergraduate Abstract Competition Submission Extended

The undergraduate abstract competition submission deadline has been extended 5 weeks to March 12th. All abstracts will be evaluated and the top submissions will be solicited to submit a 3 minute video explaining your research. The finalists will be provided further details for the video requirements. Thank you in advance and best of luck to all of our undergraduate abstract submitters.

Undergraduate Participation

Any undergraduate students wishing to apply to AbGradCon should submit an abstract using the same guidelines and submission form as graduate students. The undergraduate abstract with the highest score after evaluation will be selected for full funding and invited to attend the conference.

First Announcement - AbGradCon 2018

On behalf of the AbGradCon 2018 Organizing Committee, I'm excited to announce that AbGradCon 2018 will be hosted by Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA from June 4-8, 2018. Applications will open in December, with a deadline in early February.

The Proposal Writing Retreat (PWR), formerly known as the Research Focus Group (RFG), will take place at from June 1-4, 2017. Applicants for AbGradCon will be able to apply for PWR at the same time as they submit their AbGradCon application. We have funds to support a limited number of participants, although we can accommodate more participants if they are able to provide some or all of their own funding.

Please check back with the website regularly for announcements including the abstract submission deadline, additional details on the PWR, and info on the Undergraduate Poster Competition.
